The dream bubbles exist only for players. It’s not even certain that guardians who would be players in a reset universe would go there - we’ve certainly never seen them. So what happens to regular people when they die? Do they simply vanish?
Alternia has ghosts. Aradia may have been particularly powerful due to being a player, but she communicated with the dead and sent ghosts to harrass Vriska. This implies that there is indeed some kind of existence after death for non-players.
The dead who were re-killed by Lord English may not have been destroyed entirely. Perhaps they moved on to where non-players go.
I’m clinging to this because the idea of being utterly erased is horrible to me.
i half agree, but a part of me thinks that it might be… better? if they were gone-gone. because, with them all obliterated it kind of brings across the message that
