On Sunday December 17, 2012, 2 days after the CT shooting, a man went to a restaurant in San Antonio to kill his ex-girlfriend. After he shot her, most of the people in the restaurant fled next door to a theater. The gunman followed them and entered the theater so he could shoot more people. He started shooting and people in the theater started running and screaming. It’s like the Aurora, CO theater story plus a restaurant!

Now aren’t you wondering why this isn’t a lead story in the national media along with the school shooting?

There was an off duty county deputy at the theater. SHE pulled out her gun and shot the man 4 times before he had a chance to kill anyone. So since this story makes the point that the best thing to stop a bad person with a gun is a good person with a gun, the media is treating it like it never happened.

Only the local media covered it. The city is giving her a medal next week. 

Just thought you’d like to know.

It was a bad day and I had to go home early.

First period was fine, nothing went wrong, it was just busy work- but someone at the table in front of me sprayed something.

Second period, on my way there the 300 hallway reeked of Axe. I couldn’t breathe and talk properly for the first while of class. Thank god for extra juice.

Third period felt like I was on the descent to hell. It was hot, dry air, and still smelt of Axe.

Fourth is the period where everything went to shit. It was senior picture day today and because I am physically female, the photography people needed Administrator Permission to allow me to wear the Tux instead of the drape. The photography group themselves were very helpful and caring, doing everything they could to help me. They went to get the permission and came back with a strong “no”.

I went to talk to the administrator myself, but the Principal was in a meeting. So, I talked to Miss Sandra up front. I, very calmly, stated that I am a transgender and do not wish to be presented as a female for my Senior picture. That’s the picture that goes in the year book that everybody sees and focuses on. That’s the one they use to remember who you are. It’s a big deal. If it was any other year, I wouldn’t care. But this is my senior picture.

They still said no, claiming that they wanted to keep everything “consistent”.

How is allowing me to wear the same tux the boys wear inconsistent? Your gender is not stated in the yearbook.

This is an LGBTQ line they’ve crossed at this school, for their reasoning is that I am marked down as “female”.

There is no transgender option.

There is no gender nonspecific option.

In this school they give you two options and expect you to conform between those lines:

Male

or

Female.

I went home because I was shaking and crying in anger. I am not allowed to do many things because I am phyiscally female. I am not allowed to use the boy’s bathroom, I must use the girl’s. I am not allowed to be in the male locker room, I must be in the female’s. I am not addressed as young man, always young lady.

Gender isn’t a role you can assume. My gender isn’t your choice.

It’s mine.

I’m male, and I would like my male options to be open.

Okay now that the whole update shenanigans has somewhat calmed down (lol probably not), here’s a little thing.

New(?) Pisces troll finally has been shown a name, Meenah.

She talks with fish puns similar to Feferi and wields the same kind of golden pointy deal.

A lot of people see the similarities between her manner of speech and Eridan’s.

So… what if that other Scorpio girl also has a mix of two beta trolls we know of?
